brandon stafford, SummerHouse oxford Designer

Brandon Stafford has been a part of the SummerHouse family since 2018 after graduating the from University of Mississippi. Originally from Tupelo, this Mississippi native has always appreciated the value of beautiful things.

Brandon was originally hired to serve as an assistant to the showroom manager while also working alongside designers at SummerHouse Oxford. During this time, Brandon quickly discovered a love of all things SummerHouse and unearthed his natural talent for interior design.

Seeking to pursue a little adventure before settling down, Brandon was hired by Delta Air Lines as a flight attendant. This role provided him the opportunity to leave home and visit places all over the globe, learning about different customs and beautiful cultures that influence his designs today.

After a few years and a global pandemic later, Brandon knew that he had seen all he wanted to see and was ready to put down roots in Oxford. He was hired as a Junior Interior designer and is now full time interior designer at Summerhouse Oxford.

As for personal interior design style, Brandon leans towards timeless, transitional pieces.  He loves old world charm and antique pieces and textiles because they always tell a story. “I like to host and have people over so having anything in a home that starts a conversation is special to me.” He loves warmth and texture and color because he says those help create a coziness and comfort. He also loves raw and organic materials, and any opportunity to bring the outside in.
