Creepy Chic

In honor of Halloween (which is only a couple of days away… How did it get here so fast!?), we’ve put together a small collection of Creepy Chic rooms, decorated with unconventional or just downright creepy art and accessories.
Skulls on the wall? Creepy art over the bed? (Maybe in the living room, yeah, but right over your head as you sleep at night? A little scary!) These designers know just how to incorporate these into a livable space without seeming terribly frightening! (Photos collected from Lonny and Rue)
- A skull sits right there on the table between those two chairs. This family must not have any kids!
- Not only does this artwork have a slightly scary flair to it, but that hand on the cocktail table could really creep a girl out!
- Such a beautiful, serene room. Then you notice the eyeball in the piece of art on the right! Wow…

- Skulls on the wall… This skull is actually pretty cool and funky!
- Try falling asleep at night with this crazy lady hanging over your head…. NOOO THANK YOU!

Let’s face it. We could all use a little help when arranging our bookshelves. Books, trinkets, pieces of art, sculptures, pottery, etc…. How can you make it all work? We searched the pages of some of our favorite reads to bring you a little “shelf help!”
All of these photos came from Rue, Lonny, and the Domino book. We love how these designers have used outside-the-box ideas to make things like butterfly collections and big boxes fit into the scheme! The designers at SummerHouse are all PROS at bookshelf arrangement, so if you need help, you know who to call!
