The newest issue of Rue Magazine is LIVE!
We are so excited! Not only have we loved and adored Rue Magazine for, oh, a really long time, but we now advertise with them! Our ad is beautiful (fist bump to Zest Creative!), and fits in just perfectly in with this spectacular issue! It can be found on page 11.
(In case you aren’t familiar with Rue Magazine, they’re a beautiful online publication that we can’t seem to get enough of!)

In honor of Halloween (which is only a couple of days away… How did it get here so fast!?), we’ve put together a small collection of Creepy Chic rooms, decorated with unconventional or just downright creepy art and accessories.
Skulls on the wall? Creepy art over the bed? (Maybe in the living room, yeah, but right over your head as you sleep at night? A little scary!) These designers know just how to incorporate these into a livable space without seeming terribly frightening! (Photos collected from Lonny and Rue)

Let’s face it. We could all use a little help when arranging our bookshelves. Books, trinkets, pieces of art, sculptures, pottery, etc…. How can you make it all work? We searched the pages of some of our favorite reads to bring you a little “shelf help!”
All of these photos came from Rue, Lonny, and the Domino book. We love how these designers have used outside-the-box ideas to make things like butterfly collections and big boxes fit into the scheme! The designers at SummerHouse are all PROS at bookshelf arrangement, so if you need help, you know who to call!
